The White Horse
Traditional Ales & Food
Time stops in this classic whitewashed pub, all gas lamps, low beams and ploughman’s lunches -with ever changing ales to sip in the garden.
Located in the village of Hedgerley South Buckinghamshire we are a perfectly preserved slice of unspoiled pubbery. White washed brick, horseshoes and cartwheels peer from the shrubbery and window baskets, illuminated by ancient gas lamps on both street and facade.
As a serious ale house, seven ever changing beers are drawn direct from cask and served via a hatch, the selection rotating on a seasonal basis. For more information on our selection click on Ales below.

Our Traditional Fine Ales
The White Horse at Hedgerley proudly offers guests the chance to taste the best traditional ales brewed from carefully selected barley, wheat and hops. Take a look below to learn more about our ale selection and unique drawing methods.
We pride ourselves on delivering the finest ales from both established brewers as well as micro and artisan brewers. If you have a particular ale that you think we would like why not let us know!
We draw all our traditional ales directly from the cask as we feel that the ale should be served as the brewer intended.
Our selection is ever changing and is sometimes limited to a single cask.
When its gone its gone, so come and sample some of the finest traditional ales.
